This is all I've picked up in the past few weeks - grey sweaters and sweatshirts.

Next to black I'm usually in grey and I like well made staple pieces, so I favour a variation in cut, weight, fit...etc.
I'm not gonna go into detail about garms 'cause this isn't a menswear/style blog (stop emailing me to post your shit).

Surf and Turf business. Their menu has you spoilt for choice and the waitresses put your bibs on for you..

I wasn't crazy about the presentation of the main course, but it was good food. I wouldn't say it tasted very American though.

I checked out the preview of the Nike #makeitcount photo exhibition on Tuesday night. Shot glasses of tomato soup, cheese toasties and mini hot dogs.

The photographer, Adam Hinton talked us through the extensive process of getting all the images which made us appreciate the portraits ten fold.

It's a good campaign and Nike Running are releasing impressive product right now...
Too bad I despise long distance running too much to ever use any of it for it's designated purpose.

The exhibition is on at 1948 for I don't know how long.

This Nixon watch is incredibly impractical - It has glow in the dark hands, but with no light source it's useless after 5pm.
I switched out the shitty canvas strap for a few metres of 550 military paracord.

I was gonna go for a military strap, but they're a bit on the thin side for this face.
An upgrade is well overdue, but my options are many. A watch says a lot about a lad.

I saw TEED (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) at XOYO the other night.

Sell out show and it was a smash. Choreographed dancers, wacky dinosaur costumes and confetti canons.

I spent the weekend at Leeds Festival courtesy of Converse UK.

For no clear reason my camera F-ed up. I'm no profesh so I only carry the one body.

Not a good look. I dealt with it and got hold of a substitute, but still... Not a good look.

Sucks because I really wanted to get portraits of some of the currr-razy people I saw (exhibit A, below).

Spent Thursday catching up with Thandiwe.

Checked out Kenneth Grange - Making Britain Modern at the Design Museum.

His body of work is nothing short of impressive. Kodak, Parker, rail, London black cabs. He's done it all.

Paying full price for entry taught me a lesson for shrugging off the loss of my student ID.

In all my years procrastinating around central London I've never eaten at Mother Mash.

Thoroughly enjoy the chilli sausages.

at work on something for the DMC championships.

Very little shade, the heat was murder.
The crane/lift driver was swinging containers everywhere, we were bricking it.

Yesterday evening I checked out the opening of the Youth Club gallery space on Carnaby St.

The first exhibition on show was Inside Job showcasing photography of Lawrence Watson.

Alongside the wicked imagery on display was a varsity jacket from House of Billiam
commissioned by YC lined with one of Lawrence's photographs.

I'm a fan of Watson's work as well HoB's product. Go check it out!

I went to check out the Nike 6.0 Pool on Saturday in Daggers.
Nike turned a disused swimming pool in beautiful Dagenham into a full BMX/skate park.
Brilliant concept and well executed.
It's a shame they're dismantling now and before the Summer hols too!
I had a go on the mini ramp. I kinda sucked.

Spent Bank Holiday Sunday at Streetfest in Herne St car park.

Good day, great weather, nice vibes.

Tunes all day courtesy of Motive, Bounty Crew, Marcus Nasty,

There was all sorts to see and do: live art, streetwear stalls, Adidas photobooth,

I was on a job with Ladoja&Sons for D&G last Thursday for their DressMeUp campaign.

Had to photograph a group of London bloggers-turned-stylists-for-the-night dressing up some of D&G's manikins. It took forever.

I was mostly on celeb duty at the front door so didn't catch much of the night, but Jolene had that covered.

Free booze and mini cheese & ham toasties.

The fashion world is an odd place and not for everyone.

Friday night, some of London's finest DJ crews went head-to-head for the Nonsense All Crew CLASH!

The setting was a derelict warehouse and the crowd was hyped.

Standout crews for me were Bounty, Proof and Get Some. Bounty dropped some bangers and took the win. Big night.

I was buzzed so snap count is minimal.

Federal Republic of Nigeria

Spent 10 days in Nigera at the top of the year to chill and see fam.

My flight landed at 8, luggage took 2hrs and then the drive home took an 1hr+ so I spent new years in deep sleep!

The country is only fun when you're well organised and have everything required to get by over there; a 4x4 that can hack any terrain, a driver, plenty of diesel for your generator (NEPA) and money, coupled with the expectation to never pay the full amount for an item or service, haggle haggle!

My auntie's driver was still on holiday so movement was limited. We saw enough for a good time, but obviously you can roam the country if you're in the back seat.

The roads are still horrendous, everyone is trying to sell you everything and the rich are even richer.

Anyway just a small selection of what I snapped...

On Thursday evening Nike and Size? put together a small exhibition in the basement of Air Gallery showcasing their 10 years of sneaker collaboration together and history of their inspirations alongside well known pop artist Dave White.

Dave White painted a large piece a few nights prior to the event onto previously cut boards, with a numbered token each attendee was given a square from the painting signed by the artist along with a tee and tote...

Nike did damn well with NSW Destroyer exhibit 1948.

The history in destroyer jackets on show was impressive accompanied by plenty of cold refreshments for the well mixed crowd. Shame there was nothing to nibble on! The people were hungry!

O yeah, hardcore punk band the Gallows playing soundtrack to a women's boxing match a la ringside moshpit was a perfect wrap to the evening!

The band and moshpit moved to centre stage.

Good show ladies.

Two east London jams held their 1st birthdays last night so I thought check 'em out, why not!

Public transport f*ckeries and other delays meant we couldn't spend too long at either.

Both good nights I highly recommend for an eventful night out in east.

Up north is way different to London town, too bad I was deaf to that accent.

Popped into 1948 for the From Moon to Lunar installation and release of the Lunar Eclipse last night.

A decent setup definitely worth checking if you're into your sneaker histoire.

Half of London town and their SLR's were already in there so I wasn't too fussed about snapping much.

I could've snapped this front on, but these are always better in person...
